This is another image from my night at Badlands National Park in South Dakota. It was a mostly cloudy evening I was waiting for it to get dark and I was getting concerned that the sky may not clear, so when I saw a small break in the clouds, I started shooting. In my last weeks post I got a clear view of the milky way, but in this one, not so much. However, I like the horse shoe shaped formation in the foreground which becomes the main subject in the composition.
