This was my first attempt at night photography since I had my Canon 5D III camera astro modified. This was a single shot captured at Badlands National Park in South Dakota with about a 30% crescent moon setting in the west. I liked the way the landscape has a red/orange color cast, reminds me of some of the images of Mars I’ve seen from NASA.
